It’s a very caring place that will put you on the right path, you have to follow through and follow the plan, regardless if you go for your mental well-being or detox.

This location saved my life. I was suicidal, depressed, and so heartbroken I couldn't even eat. The staff treated me so well and helped me really heal in a matter of days. There are pretty strict rules, but honestly they help people grow as a person and can really help anyone. The food isn't restaurant quality, and the lack of privacy was hard to get used to, but everything was made to keep people safe, and who can expect gourmet from underpaid workers in a hospital? So trust me when I say, this place can change and even save lives, so I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a healthy environment and a smooth recovery

I don't know about other people's experience about this place but they were great to me. Straight up professional and I may be paying them another visit. Wish me luck.

You aren't forced to take ice cold showers and sleep in a freezing room.. Ive been here twice and guess what? I LIKED IT THERE! They give out amazing food, there rooms are comfortable to stay in, and the workers there are amazing. Mr. T was one of the techs, he was a good man. He was supportive and he was kind.

I was just a recent patient, I am 15 and I was suicidal so I got help. The staff there really talks to you and helps you but of course there are just some workers who are just just there for their paycheck. I really enjoyed Lanelle and Arious because they really cared about you and you got to play basketball outside and enjoy the nice weather. This place on the other hand doesn't let you be free and enjoy yourselves much, you get no contact with the outside world and it sucks, like after I got out I went back to my old self and honestly got worst, I am editing my review now like almost a year later and I can't believe I am alive today. Not suicidal nor depressed. Life is going great :)

South bend emergency room told me about this. Nurse said her nephew went. they didn't have any openings to get evaluated until after the weekend so im glad they took me. Not like a regular hospital its small. I liked that and they didn't judge me either.physically and mentally stable I feel stable for the first time someone cared enough to help me. even though they were the workers they were very caring

Just picked up my 13 y/o.. Didn't expect much change.. we had tried EVERYTHING, police involved, therapy, school meetings/therapy, church resources/our pastor/their recommendations for therapy... she had been away overnight before but only for a few days.no help. .. anyway over the past 4 months we came in for these appts with a therapist. Every.single.week... ended up on much better terms as far as communicating. Im not sure who that helped more lol idk. She's the same kid our problems are not gone. but even she is pleased I can tell. I asked her about taking cold showers that I read in another review and she had no idea what I was talking about. No issues related to get physical care. I think she actually liked it there. just talking with her last night, we both feel more able and understanding of our feelings and emotions. To the real reason I'm reviewing--- the main reason is so parents know that it is HARD to Leave your loved ones no matter who, but ifit is needed I would trust this place in again. Mental problems arent to be ashamed of . My coworkers know and have been supporting me. Get yourself or someone help if they need it before you lose them. I will recommend this place and kind of feel proud my daughter went there-- (funny as that sounds). Bc I know it was right for her. I can't and WONT imagine what would have happened.

I needed to clear my mind of the clutter in my life. Michigan’s gave me a new start. I recommend this place to anyone that needs a fresh start.

I have worked here. I believe in the help that MBH provides. It is exceptional and that is an understatement in my eyes. When a family member or someone that is cared about is in need of mental health and/ or drug or alcohol addiction assistance issues please call them for help. They are the best.

Sent my teen daughter teo weeks ago. It was a hard decision but definitely well worth it. She is sticking to the plan given at discharge and things are going great!!

Well this is review 2, this week consisted of nothing crazy. The RTC boy's unit has a plant now thanks to Becca, Becca is the lady who runs everything, at first you think she will hit you if your not good but thats just a facade she's actual really good at working with the peoples and patients we had an outing to Walmart which was cool because we got Bens pretzels and we bought other stuff. Teshawn has barley been at work because he's terified of loosing a game. Plus Mike the ceo gave me a life saver from his desk, I'd honestly wanted one from like the first week I was their. Finally their is the teacher Sarah who got me a pink spade and rake thing to garden after the school which is great. But I've got another 5-7 weeks now and now I'm gonna miss a trip not happy about that. Another 3 star week

This is David on my brothers acount and as i promised this is weekly review number 1. Well this week wasn't bad did quite a bit of stuff which was fun so yeah. Buuuut I've got some staff reviews Tashawn won't play a good game of chess because I've wiped the floor with him, also morgan is helen and helen is morgan it will be this way forever. Also an SO to Justin who i just saw in Walmart

Me and my husband went there and got help. Was there for 5 days. His 1st time my 2nd time. For the most part everyone was so nice. I would like to say thanks to lashawn, Morgan, and Bob the techs were super nice and Sarah and Ashley the RN'S we're great. I would like to thank those ppl for treating us the real people and not junkboxes. Once again thanks for everything. N

I can't thank the staff at Michiana Behavioral Health enough for taking care of my son. They stepped in and helped my wife and I out with an area that we didn't have many answers to. Michiana Behavioral Health did...and then some. Thank you for giving us our son back and letting us know what to do as parents moving forward.

I needed to get my personal life in order and Michiana Behavioral Health was there for me. I needed mental stability to overcome my addictions and after I got clean, they gave me tools to stay clean. Kudos to my 'new family' in Plymouth.

I heard about this place from a friend that had a child go there. They talked very positively about Michiana Behavioral Health. Even though I am an adult, I still needed to admit myself into a place like this and I am glad I did. The staff is friendly and very helpful with teaching the things that you need to be successful when you leave. I totally recommend this place.

My daughter was admitted here on 5/5/2017...I can not express enough, how thankful I am to everyone there who helped her during this really tough time in her life... Without the caring staff at Michiana behavioral health my daughter would have died! We are taking baby steps daily to help her get back to her healthy happy self. Terrance and Arius gave her a new outlook on life...as a mother there are not enough thank you's to express how grateful I am to the two of you. Jada is thriving and she will always remember you both. Wonderful, wonderful place to help children that are dealing with hard things in life that put them in a bad emotional state. I highly reccomend if your child needs help!!!

I CAME OUT OF MBH A CHANGED WOMAN WITH THE CONFIDENCE AND STRENGTH THAT I DIDN'T KNOW I HAD. I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO BE ACCEPTED INTO YOUR PROGRAM.

I was just discharged last week and I can positively say that I am better off now from when I was admitted. They gave me the tools and strength to go forward on my own and set up my first outpatient appointment for me to make sure I follow through with the plan set in place. Thank you to everyone at MBHC!!

Thank you for all your priceless care and support through a dark time in my life. Your kindness and empathy was unmatched...from the lunch ladies to the doctors to the therapists to the techs, I can honestly say I felt support from all of you.

My daughter just came back from Michiana Behavioral Health and had a very positive experience. She felt safe and comfortable there which, she says, allowed her to come back home feeling better than when she was admitted. Would recommend to others.

Sept 2016- The place was helpful, (there can always be improvement, in anything in life). But all in all, it was helpful. It ended up being a life changing experience, for all involved. I'm thankful this place was here for my family when we needed it. There are not many places like this, in this area. Any problems we encountered was usually due to miscommunication, or lack there of. But in the end, with hard work from all parties involved, it was a positive life changing experience. Thank You for your help!!
